Assisted the UNTHSC Infection Control Officer and the Safe Transitions for Elderly Patients (STEP) Program with a public health situation involving bedbugs, by conducting background research on the situation (reading different articles and searching through information on public-health related websites) and helping solicit supplies to help manage and prevent future situations.
